Two Awards for „Lemonade” This Weekend

     It was a successful weekend for Lemonade / Luna de miere, the film director Ioana Uricaru`s latest film. After having received in August the Best Director Award at the Sarajevo Film Festival, on Saturday the film received the Trophy of the Women’s Film Festival of Salé, Morocco, where it was screened in the official competition, alongside 11 films.
     Lemonade also won the Best Film Award of the Ars Independent Festival in Katowice, Poland, chosen by the audience.
     During the same weekend, Lemonade closed the 9th edition of the Jagran Film Festival in Delhi and it was screened in an itinerant series of screenings in other 16 cities in India.
     In Romania, Lemonade will be in the Romanian cinemas, starting with October 26, 2018, being distributed by Voodoo Films. Besides the screenings in Bucharest, the film can be seen in Iași, Timișoara, Ploiești, Cluj, Constanța, Vaslui, Brașov, Lugoj, Călărași, Buzău, Suceava, Pitești, Târgu Mureș, Reșița, Caransebeș, Vulcan, Oravița, Sibiu, Galați, Slobozia, Sfântu Gheorghe and Arad.
