PREVIEW: „Cabbage, Potatoes and Other Demons” at the Cinema Hall of the Romanian Peasant Museum

     The preview of Cabbage, Potatoes and other Demons (directed by Serban Georgescu) will take place Tuesday, Jan 24 at 9h, at the Horia Bernea Studio in the presence of the crew.

     The film invites us to Lunguletzu, a village near Bucharest where 1000 farmers wait, year after year, in the local market place to sell their over 100.000 tons of cabbage. At the end of the day they have to choose between selling it for a ridiculous price or burying their crop.
     The doc had its worldwide launching in Leipzig DOK film Festival in Nov. 2016. The crew also comprises Bogdan Slavescu (DOP), Ioan Iacoban  and Alex Iosub (sound).The film is produced by Elephant Film in co production with Kolective Film and Ma.ja.de. Filmproduktion and is distributed in Romania by Ultraviolet Media. International sales are supervised by Deckert Distribution.
