Octav is a drama about the friendship between an 80-year old man and a 10-year old girl. Intriguing and original, this is a story about the travel in time made by the leading character, elderly Octav (Marcel Iureș), in order to root out significant events of his childhood.

The shooting is made on location in Câmpulung, Argeș County, and also in din Buftea (Ilfov County) studios, during 21 March - 27 April 2016.

Octav has a budget amounting to Euro 1.4 million, being produced by Astra Entertainment, Oblique Media and CelebFilms UK. The screenplay is signed by Serge Ioan Celebidachi and James Olivier, the photography by Blasco Giurato, the soundtrack was composed by Vladimir Cosma, and the general producer is Adela Vrînceanu Celebidachi.
Serge Ioan Celebidachi, son of the renowned conductor and composer Sergiu Celibidache, is a graduate of the Theatre and Dramatic Arts University of Indiana (Bloomington), and has a Master's Degree at the International Film School of London.
