Andi Vasluianu is the son of Victor Rebengiuc in “Octav”

     Andi Vasluianu plays alongside Marcel Iureș and Victor Rebengiuc in Octav. The actor plays the role of Marcel, son of Spiridon (Victor Rebengiuc), childhood friend of Octav (Marcel Iureș).
    Andi Vasluianu also played with in Călătoria lui Gruber / Gruber's Journey (directed by Radu Gabrea), as well as in the performance “Vanilla Skype” at Act Theatre. Andi Vasluianu and Victor Rebengiuc were part of several productions' cast: the feature film Contra timp / Far from Here (directed by Jesús del Cerro), the series Deschide ochii / Open Your Eyes (directed by Iura Luncașu) and the short Cu lapte fără zahăr / Latte, No Sugar (directed by Andrei Florescu).
     “I liked to work with Serge Celebidachi, who is exceptional, both as a person and as director. Both matter to me. Serge is a real seeker, who permanently looks to understand where things stand. Here, my role was small, with a minor significance in the economy of the film It was an honour for me to work with Marcel Iureș and Victor Rebengiuc and hats off to them. I have a lot to learn from them. I was lucky enough to meet them both in the same place,” Andi Vasluianu stated.
     Octav is a Romania-Great Britain co-production, made with the support of the National Filmmaking Centre, the producer being Adela Vrinceanu Celebidachi. The film will be officially released in movie theatres on 6 October 2017.
