“The World Is Mine” at the “Romanian Cinematheque” of ICR London

     Lumea e a mea / The World Is Mine (directed by Nicolae Constantin Tănase) will be screened within the “Romanian Cinematheque”, a programme coordinated by the Romanian Cultural Institute in London, on 26 April 2017.

     The film, with young Ana-Maria Guran in the leading role, was internationally premiered at the Karlovy Vary 2015 International Festival, where it got a Special Mention, and afterwards it was circulated to numerous festivals, getting the Debut Award at Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF) and at the Gopo Awards.
     The “Romanian Cinematheque” is one of the permanent programmes of ICR London, designed to bring into focus Romanian films of all times, many of them never presented in the UK. The monthly screenings are set up in partnership with the National Filmmaking Centre of Bucharest.
