Lucian Rus and Ilinca Hărnuț perform in a stage play directed by Radu Jude
Lucian Teodor Rus and Ilinca Hărnuț, the young actors who are in the cast of Radu Jude`s latest feature film Scarred Hearts, are currently rehearsing for a stage play, directed by the same Radu Jude; it is a theatre project, an adaptation of a screenplay written by Reiner Werner Fassbinder for Ali: Fear Eats the Soul, that the German filmmaker directed in 1974.
The play will be on the stage of the Apollo 111 Theatre (located in the Universe Palace), which is founded by the actor Bogdan Dumitrache and Cătălin Rusu, Călin-Peter Netzer, Dragoş Vîlcu.
The first three proposals of the Apollo 111 Theatre are adaptations of some film screenplays: Ali: Fear Eats the Soul, directed by Radu Jude, Sieranevada, directed by Cătălin Mitulescu and After the Rain, directed by Alex Maftei.
The location of the Universe Palace has a theatre hall with 140 seats and film professional screening conditions, a hall dedicated to the concerts and special events, three rehearsal rooms, two casting rooms and a terrace.
