The Iași-based ARTIS Association and the MIA Community Association in Chișinău kick off the
Romanian Film Centennial project in Iași. The Iași City Hall and the Iași Atheneum are the organizers of the event. AGERPRES (the National News Agency) is the co-organizer of the event that will span a year and which will be run together with the Iași Journalism Students Association.
The Romanian Film Centennial is a project running under the Centennial Anniversary program of the Iași City Hall (2017-2020).
The first film in this
series of the Romanian Film Centennial Caravan is
Eastern Business/Afacerea Est, directed by
Igor Cobileanski. The Iași screening will be attended by the film critic Irina-Margareta Nistor, the director Igor Cobileanski and the actors Constantin Pușcașu and Daniel Busuioc.
