
Apart from the film screenings, Docuart will also set up the
masterclass „Documentary sub-fiction of horror. Detection camp and atomic bomb”, delivered by
Cristian Tudor Popescu, on Saturday, 20 May, from 14.30, at Ambasada.
The series of screenings will open on Friday, at 17.00, with
Farid Fairuz versus Mihai Mihalcea (directed by Alex Pintică),
Capoeira, the Dance of Freedom (directed by
Enxhi Rista),
Proiecționistul / The Projectionist (directed by Norbert Fodor) and
Angela (directed by Botond Püsök). Afterwards, from 19.30, the following documentaries will be screened
100 de movile / 100 Risings (directed by Max T. Ciorbă) and
The Other Face (directed by Cinty Ionescu), a
live performance proposing an audio-visual exploration of depression.
The Saturday programme will start also at 17.00, with the shorts
Perfection Is Forever (directed by Mara Trifu),
Stories in Tea Cups (directed by
Mirona Radu),
10:34 to Belgrade (directed by
Ioana Grigore), followed by the feature films
În căutarea tătălui pierdut / In Search of a Lost Father (directed by
Ionuț Teianu) and
Imagini din vis / Dream Images (directed by Sorin Luca).
100 Risings will have a special screening, in memoriam Gabriel Mafa, leader of the band Negură Bunget, on Sunday, from 19.00, at Daos Club.
As always, Docuart Caravan will have among its guests makers of the documentaries, who will talk with the audience at the end of the screenings.
