Indie Sales Acquires World Rights for “Thou Shalt Not Kill”

Paris-bsed Indie Sales has acquired world rights to emerging filmmakers Gabriela Șarga and Cătălin Rotaru`s feature directorial debut – Thou Shalt Not Kill / Să nu ucizi. The film will have the world premiere during the Warsaw International Film Festival (October 12-21, 2018).
The film tells the story of a young surgeon from Bucharest who is idealistic and very dedicated to his profession. He is the only person who is troubled by the sudden death of some patients, after operations that are successful. Investigating the causes of these deaths, he makes a shocking discovery: for quite many years, the hospital has acquired inefficient, substandard, diluted disinfectants.      While trying to make public his discovery, Cristian realizes he can`t break the indifference wall. His wife leaves him, his friends and associates marginalize him and he uselessly tries to get to reporters, ministers, prosecutors and investigators.
The film stars the actors Alexandru Suciu și Cristina Flutur.
Thou Shalt Not Kill is produced by Adina Sădeanu for Axis Media Productions and co-produced by Green Cat Film, the company of the two directors, Șarga and Rotaru. The film was funded with the support of the Romanian Film Center, the National Television and Zenith Media.
