Over 18 – 22 April, during the week „School, Differently”, the
CinEd program has set up 27 screenings in 6 Romanian towns: Bucharest, Târgu Mureș, Mediaș, Galați, Craiova and Alexandria. These screenings were attended by more than 1,100 pupils and teachers.

The films that the pupils had the opportunity to view and discuss with the special guests were:
The Spirit of the Beehive/El espiritu de la colmena (Spain, 1973),
Cum mi-am petrecut sfârşitul lumii/The Way I Spent the End of the World (
Cătălin Mitulescu, 2006) and
Cea mai fericită fată din lume/The Happiest Girl in the World (
Radu Jude, 2009),
Pierrot, the Fool /Pierrot le fou (France, 1965),
First Day of School/
Rentrée des classes (France, 1956) and
Little Light/
Petite lumière (France, 2003).
In April, almost 150 teachers took part to free training sessions, in 5 towns: Bucharest, Buzău, Galați, Craiova and Alexandria. On 23 May, another training session will be organised for primary school teachers, in Timișoara. Those who wish to

The trainings and screenings by CinEd had special guests, film reviewers such as
Ileana Bîrsan,
Andrei Gorzo, Gabriela Filippi, Iulia Voicu, and actress Carmen Lopăzan. They facilitated the analysis of the features proposed, as well as the dialogue with the pupils and teachers.
In May, new screening sessions will be set up in Craiova, Roman, Ploiești and Timișoara.
CinEd Project was launched in
7 partner countries, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and România, other countries being to join it in 2017.
