The European Film Festival in Târgu Mureș

The European Film Festival, at its 20th national edition, marks an important hallmark in Târgu Mureș too, where it is to arrive for its 5th local edition between 20 and 22 May.
The Festival will open with the gala film Trois souvenirs de ma jeunesse/Three Youth Memories (France, 2015), directed by Arnaud Desplechin, a feature offered by Independența Film.
Between 20 and 22 May, at Cinema Arta, the viewers are invited to seven very different European features, from mystery comedies to dramas, historical and investigation films.
With the support of the CinED Program (set up by the French Institute, the NexT Cultural Society and the Macondo Cultural Association), we included for Sunday, 22 May, at 11:00, at Cinema Arta, a screening meant for pupils, parents and teachers of the film El espiritu de la colmena/Beehive Spirit, (1973, directed by Victor Erice, 95'), followed by a talk with film reviewer Andra Petrescu.
Admission to all screenings will be free of charge.
