Almost 300 educational facilitators took part in the training sessions coordinated by film critics Andrei Gorzo and Gabriela Filippi, getting used to the online platform and pedagogical means put at their disposal through this programme.
Due to the great interest of the participants and also for a deepening of the elements of cinematographic education, during the month of April there will be organized two more intensive trainings, one day each, in Bucharest and Brașov. The details will be announced in the second part of March.
In March, a period dear to the schools due to the educational programme Another Kind of Week, the screenings meant for pupils will start in the 6 towns where the training sessions were organized this year. They will have in view films from the CinEd catalogue which includes 10 long features and 2 shorts for pupils of all ages.
The films meant for middle school are El espíritu de la colmena / Spiritul stupului (Víctor Erice, Spania, 1973), Uma Pedra no Bolso / Un sâmbure de îndoială(Joaquim Pinto, Portugalia, 1988), Shelter / Adăpost, (Dragomir Sholev, Bulgaria, 2010), Il Posto / Postul (Ermanno Olmi, Italia, 1961) și  Cum mi-am petrecut sfârşitul lumii / The Way I Spent the End of the World (Cătălin Mitulescu, 2006).
High school pupils will enjoy films such as En construcción / În construcţie (José Luis Guerín, Spania, 2001), Pierrot Le Fou / Pierrot Nebunul (regia Jean-Luc Godard, Franța, 1965), O Sangue / Sângele (Pedro Costa, Portugalia, 1989), Cea mai fericită fată din lume / The Happiest Girl in the World (Radu Jude, 2009) și L'intervallo  / Intervalul (Leonardo di Costanzo, Italia, 2012)
The CinEd catalogue reunites productions from 7 European countries (France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Romania) and it will be enriched with new films each year.
In its first year of the CinEd project, the NexT Cultural Society organized screenings for over 1300 middle school and high school pupils.
