The European Film Festival arrives in Baia Mare between 13-15 May


     The European Film Festival, at its 20th, arrives for the first time in Baia Mare, bringing local film lovers European features and a meeting with actor Levente Molnár, who stared in Fiul lui Saul/Son of Saul (Hungary, 2015), which will open the Baia Mare edition.
     Between 13 and 15 May, at the Municipal Theatre of Baia Mare, the viewers will have the opportunity to see seven recent European features: Fiul lui Saul/Son of Saul (Hungary, 2015 – Friday, 13 May, at 19.30), Mediterranea (Italy/France, 2015 – Saturday, 14 May, 17.00), Legea pieței/Market Kaw (France, 2015 – Saturday, 14 May, at 19.00), Noapte bună, mami!/Good Night, Mommy! (Austria, 2014 – Saturday, 14 May, at 21.00), Mustang (France/Germany/Turkey, 2015 – Sunday, 15 May, at 17.00), Copil de miercuri/Wednesday Child (Hungary/Germany, 2015 – Sunday, 15 May, at 19.00) and 1944 (Estonia/Finland, 2015 – at 21.00).
     With the support of the CinED Programme (developed by the French Institute, by the NexT Cultural Society and the Macondo Cultural Associated), we included on Saturday, 14 May, at 15:00, at the Artscape Theatre, a screening for gymnasium and high school students of the Spanish film Spiritul stupului /El espíritu de la colmena/Beehive Spirit, directed by Víctor Erice, 1973.
     Access to evening gala will be made by invitation, but to all the other screenings admission will be free of charge.
