The 12th Edition of Bucharest International Film Festival was wrapped up Saturday night, 23 April, at Cinema Elvira Popescu.
The reviewers' jury, made up of
Magda Mihăilescu,
Florentina Ciuvercă and Ruxandra Grecu, granted their award to
Ejhdeha Vared Mishavad! (Iran, 2016, Mani Haghighi).
The jury of the main section of BIFF 2016 granted the Best Film Award to the production
Soy Nero (directed by Rafi Pitts). The Best Director Award went to Mia Hansen-Løve for
L’avenir, and Best Screenplay Award went to
Smrt u Sarajevu (directed by Danis Tanović). A Special Mention was also granted to
La fille du patron (directed by Olivier Loustau).
