Kapitalists, directed by Pablo Muñoz Gomez, the story of a capitalist Santa Claus who offers toys to the rich children and hoodies to the poor ones, is the short film that won the 10th edition of the Timishort Film Festival.

The jury offered a special mention to the film
The Son of Ipanema / El sol de Ipanema (directed by Victor Vicente Villavicencio Potella, Spain).
The award for the best Romanian film was offered ex aequo to the film
Date Night, directed by
Stela Pelin and to the film
The Best Client / Cel mai bun client, the animation directed by Serghei Chiviriga.
Flame (directed by Sami van Ingen, Finland) won the Videorama Award for the best experimental film and
Nuestra canción a la guerra (directed by Juanita Onzaga, Belgium-Colombia).
The jury was made of Wafa'a Halawi (director Lebanese Film Festival Beirut),
Tudor Giurgiu (film director, director of the

TIFF), Dalia Castell (documentary director, Israel), Milja Mikkola (Curator Midnight FF Finland), Vladimir Blazevski (director, Macedonia).
This year the 10th edition of the most important short film festival in the west of Romania, took place from October 3 to 7, 2018, at the Hall 2 of the Timișoara National Theatre, the Arts House, the Capitol Hall of the Timișoara Philharmonics, Union Square, Saint George Square.
