Film Critics Association 2015 Award for Best Film Journalism



Indie IPIFF 2016


    The 11th edition of the event organized by the Union of the Film and Audio-visual Producers from Romania (UPFAR) and the Romanian Trust Association of the Audio-visual Works (ARGOA) had four competition sections for the independent productions.
     Two Lottery Tickets / Două lozuri directed by Paul Negoescu and produced by Actoriedefilm.ro received the 2016 IPIFF Trophy and the UPFAR-ARGOA Award for the producer of the year, in the feature film section. The Best Short film Award went to Meda, which was directed by Emanuel Pârvu and produced by Anamaria Antoci. Another short film, 4:15 P.M, The End of the World / 4:15 Sfârșitul lumii (directed by Gabi Virginia Șarga and CătălinRotaru and produced by Adina Sădeanu andAlexandru Tudor Crăciun) received the Special Award of the Jury. Wall (directed by Dan Radu Mihai and produced by Pătru Păunescu) received a merit diploma for debut in film production. 
     The Trophy for Feature-length Documentary was received by Golden Robot / Roboțelul de aur, directed and produced by Mihai Dragolea and Radu Mocanu. The Best Student Film Award was received by Roxana Stroe, for the second year in a row, with A Night in Tokoriki / O noapte în Tokoriki, produced by Natalia Gurău for UNATC. Other awards were received by the documentaries Negruzzi 14, directed by Bogdan Mureșanu, produced by Roxana Ardelean and Victor Dimitrovici and The Aromanians / Armânii, regizat și produs de Toma Enache.
      This year, the president of the UPFAR, Dinu Tănase, organized a meeting with the independent producers, in order to settle together ways of promoting, supporting and direct help from the Union of the Film Producers.
