Taking into consideration the restriction, safety and prevention measures adopted by the authorities this spring, the 17th edition of ANONIMUL will take place exclusively in open air, with a maximum number of 400 participants at every screening. The access to the screenings is free and it will be made only based on the electronic reservations (tickets with value 0), available on eventbook.ro, starting with August 11.
The 2020 ANONIMUL Program includes two short film competitions, Romanian and international, as well as feature film screenings followed by Q&As between the filmmakers and the viewers.
“Ever since the pandemic started it was obvious for us that an online version wouldn`t fit our profile, where our festival is about the audience and the Delta about meetings with filmmakers and long talks into the night, it`s about the connection between hundreds of people (this year) in front of a big screen in the open air. It obvious that ANONIMUL will look totally different this year, but we cannot give up our meeting every August, unless the authorities would force us to, by means of the measures adopted until the Festival date.”,
Miruna Berescu, the festival director said.
