In a year full of important political events, Cinepolitica is back for its sixth edition in Bucharest at Eforie Cinema from April 20 to April 23.

“For years now we’ve been living in a world that’s transforming aggressively. The rate of change is increasing as the global centers of power are losing their stability or as they become more inert. Nevertheless, the audience and civil society at large have gained more access to information and, hopefully, this is here to stay. At the end, this factor alone can help establish the necessary balance. Which brings us to the point of departure for this political film festival whose main goal is that of illustrating the true nature of things by artistic and high-standard journalistic means”, says Marius Copel, the artistic director of the festival.
The Cinepolitica International Film Festival is organized by the “Cultură şi Imagine” Association in partnership with the “I.L. Caragiale” National University of Theatre and Film (UNATC) and the National University of Arts (UNArte) and with the support of the Romanian National Film Center (CNC).
