Cinepolitica opens today with “People vs. Fritz Bauer”   

     The fifth edition of the Cinepolitica International Film Festival  (13 – 17 April) will start today, at 20.00, with the screening of the feature People vs. Fritz Bauer (directed by Lars Kraume), a powerful drama on condemning the third Reich.

     Cinepolitica Competition will open in force on Thursday, 14 April, starting at 18.30, with Brat Deyan (Brother Deyan) (directed by Bakur Bakuradze), continuing with other features such as Les Chevaliers blancs (The White Knights) (directed by Joachim Lafosse), and with many others.
     The Closing Gala, where the winners will be announced, will be held on Sunday, at 20.30. The Jury of the fifth Edition of Cinepolitica is made of: Stelian Tănase (writer, journalist and political analyst), Vintilă Mihăilescu (anthropologist, University Professor and Chief of the Sociology Department within the Political Sciences Faculty) and Radu F. Alexandru (playwright, prose writer and politician).
