Ilegitim (Illegitimate) (Adrian Sitaru) will enter the Romanian theatres on March 18th.
The feature, which had its international premiere last month at the Berlin International Film Festival, Berlinale Forum Section, has on its soundtrack the boys from the Amsterdams indie – alternative band.
„Our association with Illegitimate started by accident. We got the offer to play in a movie, we saw it as something interesting, something we hadn't done before, so we said yes instantly. So we met with a very cool crew and we got to sing the trailer piece too, plus other insertions during the film. I can't wait to see the movie in a theatre,” Andrei Hațegan stated, the soloist of The Amsterdams band.
The Amsterdams was set up in 2005, when they sang an eclectic mix of indie, rock and pop, after which they sustained conserts in UK, India, Croatia, France, Spain, Italy and Hungary. The Amsterdams has launched up to now three studio materials: „Adolessons” (2009), „Electromagnetica” (2011) and „Winds Apart”.
