Subiect
Apocalyptic snow. Communist Romania. Late November 1989. K, the protagonist is a charismatic and versatile 12 grade student, but he has a problem : K is the worst Latin student since the times of Roman colonisation in 106 AD. The most famous, iconic and larger than life Roman poet, - Publius Ovidius Naso - exiled 2000 years ago to the desolate shores of the Black sea in current day Romania 'shows up' and proposes K a providential yet tough to fulfil deal : to elucidate the greatest local enigma - why was Ovid exiled from Rome to an obscure Roman outpost on the Black sea ? - in exchange for the protagonist helping Ovid to outwit the Roman garrison in Constanta and make a secret return to Rome.
