Born: 23.09.1948 in Moreni (Dâmboviţa)

Graduate of the “I.L. Caragiale” Film and Theatre Institute, class of 1971, professor Sanda Manu. “He did not get ripe at the shelter of small parts. He emerged tempestuously, in a dramatic whirlwind named Reconstituirea/Reenactment. It was shatteringly simple as life itself, within this drama of innocence on its way to disaster, within his recklessness that involved tragedy as a lure for destiny. With his uncomfortable smile as if apologizing for not being photogenic, with his childish/ serious air, an innocence unaltered by the circumstances. Trivia

He tried his luck three times with the passing exam at the Theatre and Film Institute. He was among the last to be admitted, alongside Mircea Diaconu.
In his first year at the Institute he was selected, together with Vladimir Găitan, by Lucian Pintilie, to play the main part in Reconstituirea/Reenactment.
Since 2000 he is the manager of the Comedy Theatre in Bucharest.
Married to actress Delia Seceleanu
He has three boys, Andrei, Vlad and Tudor Mihaita.
On the 13th of December, 2002 he was awarded the Knight of the Faithful Service Order
He was the editor in chief for the teenage magazines ”Salut” and “Generation Pro” (1990-2000)
In 2002 he publishes the volume ”The Teenage Dramas-You Are Not Alone”
The Founder of the Romanian Comedy festCO, organized by the Comedy Theatre.
In 2013 he gets his star on the Celebrities Boulevard, in Bucharest
