Graduate of the “ I L Caragiale” Film and Theatre Institute (class of 1965). Active in the Company of the National Theatre in Cluj.
Trivia
- He had three boys with Maria,whom he knew from his student years.
- Nominated at the European Film Awards/1988 for Best Actor, for his part in
- Jacob, by Mircea Daneliuc.
- He is the recipient of the National Order - Knight of the Faithful Service
- In 1995 he makes his debut as a poet in the review “Steaua”. He publishes 4 volumes of poetry (“Talking to the Lord-1997, The Time of Bitter Cherries-1998, Sins….-2000, Psalms-2003)
- He is a member of the Writers’ Union
