After studies in Sociology and a master in Anthropology, he gets an audio visual MBA in Madrid. Thus he discovers his passion for film production after helping his brother, film director Catalin Mitulescu, with his short feature Traffic (2004, Palme d’Or in Cannes). The two brothers put the basis of the film production company “Strada Film”, in 2004. He is the organizer of the Metropolis Film Caravan, of the KINOdiseea Children and Family Film Festival and of the NOMAD Festival.
