The seventh edition of Divan Film Festival ended


     Sunday, 28 August, in Portul Cultural Cetate, saw the wrapping up of the seventh edition  of the Divan of Film and Culinary Art Tasters , the only Balkan  film festival in Romania, carried out this year under the theme “Urban Balkan Stories”.
     Over the 8 festival days, film screenings were held, as well as culinary demonstrations, concerts and workshops. More than 70 guests, Balkan filmmakers, film critics and film experts from several European universities attended this edition of the festival, being present to the screenings held in Craiova, as well as to those held in Portul Cultural Cetate.
     This year, the festival also played host to 4 young directors from Greece (Neritan Zinxhiria), Macedonia (Lidija Mojsovska), Montenegro (Ivan Bakrač) and Romania (Raluca Răcean Gorgos), each of them making a short capturing the atmosphere of Portul Cultural Cetate.
     The cooperation between Divan Film Festival and the Ideo Ideis National Young Theatre Festival brought to this edition, in Portul Cultural Cetate, 24 high schoolers part of Atelierul de Teatru troupe, who took part to workshops coordinated by actors Liviu Romanescu and Denisa Nicolau.
