The
10th edition of the KINOdiseea International Children Film Festival took place from November 8 to 13, 2018 and ended on Tuesday evening at Eforie Cinema, with an Awards Gala announcing the 2018 winners.

The Gala was opened by the KINOdiseea Embassador Mirela Retegan, who came accompanied by the Zurli Gang, preparing the numerous audience for the awards ceremony.
This year,
the jury of the short film section was made of the actress Laura Marin, the film critic Georgiana Mușat and the director Andreea Lăcătuș. The Big Prize of the short film competition went to the film
Goldfish, directed by Yorgos Angelopoulos. The jury also gave two special mentions to the films
The Lion Boy & the Owl Girl, directed by Renan Montenegro and
Good Girls Don't, directed by Ana de Lara. The special award of the jury was recievd by the Romanian film
The Little Hero, directed by Elena Ciolacu.
In the section for teenagers, the film
Sirene (directed by Zara Dwinger) received the Big Award at 2018 KINOdiseea.

This year`s international feature film competition was judged by the actors
Ada Condeescu and
Bogdan Dumitrache and by the director
Bogdan Mustață. The three of them went upstage to announce the winners.
Supa Modo (Germany, Kenya, directed by Likarion Wainaina) was offered the 2018 KINOdiseea Big Trophy, while the Audience Award went to
Los Bando (Norway, Sweden, directed by Christian Lo).
This year`s edition of the festival gathered 7,000 viewers, while the festival workshops (acting, animation, set design, acrobatics, magic) enjoyed the special interest of the little ones.
