The Bucharest Jewish Film Festival (BJFF) will start on Saturday, 11 June, at Eforie Cinematheque, with the screening of the film Anomalisa (directed by Charlie Kaufman and Duke Johnson).

The 6th Edition of the Bucharest Jewish Film Festival will be held during 11-17 June, at the Romanian Farmers' National Museum, Horia Bernea Hall, and at Eforie Cinematheque. This year's edition will include over 30 documentary and fiction films, feature-length and shorts, most of them screened in premiere in Romania.
This year as well, the Festival will include two
competitive sections: one for documentary and one for fiction films. Outside the competition, the program is grouped into several sections, such as:
Golden, Director Portrait: Savi Gabizon and a retrospective Best of BJFF.
The 2016 Bucharest Jewish Film Festival is organised by the Art-Promo Cultural Foundation, together with the Comedy Theatre, with the support of the National Cultural Fund Administration, the Romanian Cultural Institute, the Romanian Filmmakers Union, the Jewish Communities' Federation of Romania, and the Henry Mălineanu Foundation.
