Vira Association and its partners have started, in Caracal, the workshop
My First Documentary Film (PMFD), to be carried out between 26 May and 9 June, 2016.
The participants, students with Caracal High Schools (Ioniță Asan National College, Mihai Viteazul Theoretical High School, Constantin Filipescu Technological High School, Matei Basarab Technical College), will make during the workshop documentary films focusing on subjects from their own community.
The three trainers, Ileana Szasz, Alexandra Diaconu (Vira alumni and participant in 2012 to the first documentary film workshop edition – Rulment - in Bârlad) and Bogdan Pălici,
are to guide the workshop students helping them document on potential subjects and make their own short documentary feature.
The 7th Edition of PMFD in Caracal, organised by Vira Association and ViraFilms, was made possible through the support of the National Filmmaking Centre and of its partners:: Caracal City Hall, Caracal Municipal Cultural Centre, Ba Da Association, the Local Initiative Group of Caracal, PACT Foundation, One World România at School, Cărturești, Ioniță Asan National College, Mihai Viteazul Theoretical High School, Constantin Filipescu Technological High School, Matei Basarab Technical College.
