8 new shorts made within “My First Documentary Film”

The eight shorts made by high schoolers of Caracal, participants to the 7th Edition of the workshop Primul meu film documentar [PMFD]/My First Documentary Film, will have premiere screenings on Saturday, 11 June, starting at 16:00, at „Ștefan Iordache” National Theatre of Caracal.
The young directors chose to document various topics, from the micro-universe of a homestead to the daily activities of its inhabitants, to the bikers and skaters community of Caracal or the energy of a special place of the city – the place where the sun sets. As reflexive exercises, the films represent true introspections into their own lives.
The results of the 7th Edition of the workshop My First Documentary Film will be made available on the platform www.atelieredefilmdocumentar.ro, developed by Vira Association and ViraFilms. The visitors will have the opportunity to view the eight materials, as well asstills from the films or footage taken during the shorts' production or post-production. After the premiere, in June, the shorts will be also screened at the high schools of Caracal.
