Valentin Hotea is in prost-production with “Lebensdorf”, his latest feature film

     Vali Hotea is adjusting the final details for his second feature film, the black comedy Lebensdorf. 
     A couple - Mimi Brănescu and Ioana Flora, come to the notary (Ada Solomon) for the divorce papers. The story focuses on a mature man (Mimi Brănescu) who swings between two countries – Romania and Germany – and two women – his 
wife (Ioana Flora) and his old flame from his youth (Ana Covalciuc). This idea came to Vali Hotea while he was in Germany, attending a residency for Roxanne, together with co-writer Ileana Muntean and the producer Ada Solomon.
     The film is a co-production of more Romanian film companies - HiFilm, Chainsaw Europe Studio, Abis Studio, Production XMG Media și Scharf Film Production. Ada
Solomon and Diana Păroiu are the producers. The project had financial support from CNC and the Creative Europe MEDIA Programme.
      Alexandru Solomon is the DoP, Dana Bunescu is in charge of editing, Alexandru Dumitru signs the sound design, Mălina Ionescu  the art production and Cireșica Cuciuc, the costumes.
     The film was shot over six weeks in the summer and autumn of 2019, in Bucharest, Berlin and Sieben Linden.
