“Scarred Hearts” released in theatres on November 18th

     Inimi cicatrizate/Scarred Hearts (directed by Radu Jude), winner of the Special Prize of the Jury and of the Don Quijote Prize granted by the International Federation of Film Societies at the Locarno International Film Festival, will have its premiere in Romanian theatres on 18 November, 2016, being distributed by de microFILM.

     The feature was internationally premiered at the Locarno Festival, where it was very well received by the international critics, and will be regionally premiered within the competition of the Sarajevo International Film Festival (12-20 august 2016). Actors Lucian Teodor Rus and Ilinca Hărnuț will walk on the red carpet of Bosnia Herzegovina's capital city on 19 August, from 20.00, local hour.
     The cast stars actors Lucian Teodor Rus, Ivana Mladenovic, Ilinca Hărnuț, Șerban Pavlu, Marian Olteanu, Alexandru Dabija, Dana Voicu, Fernando Klabin, Adina Cristescu.
     Scarred Hearts is a free adaptation of the autobiographic texts by writer, the action being set in 1937 when Emanuel, a 20-year old sick with bone tuberculosis checks into a sanatorium on the seaside.
