From 6-30 March 2017, the Representative Office of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Madrid and the University of Salamanca, under the patronage of the Romanian Embassy in the Kingdom of Spain, will organise the Romanian Culture Days at the University of Salamanca.

The opening day will be 7 March, in the presence of Gabriela Dancău, Romania's Ambassador in the Kingdom of Spain, and of Vicente González Martín, Dean of the Faculty of Philology.
The programme will include
the documentary exhibition „Sephardi Bucharest. A history of over 500 years in 100 images” marking the holding by Romania of the Chairmanship of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA), as well as a series of four Romanian films with Spanish subtitles:
Filantropica / Philanthropy (directed by
Nae Caranfil),
Aliyah DaDa (directed by
Oana Giurgiu),
De ce eu? / Why Me? (
Tudor Giurgiu) and
Amintiri din epoca de aur / Tales from the Golden Age (directed by
Cristian Mungiu,
Hanno Höfer, Ioana Uricaru, Răzvan Mărculescu,
Constantin Popescu).
