YouTube will host a virtual festival, in partnership with Sundance, Venice, Cannes, New York

     YouTube gives a helping hand to the worldwide film festival market which is in a difficult moment. It will launch a 10-day digital film festival which will take place from May 29 to June 7, 2020. 
     We Are One: A Global Film Festival is produced and organized by Tribeca Enterprises from New York. The YouTube-hosted event will include micro-selections from 20 top film festivals, including the Cannes Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, the Sundance Film Festival, the Berlin International Film Festival, the Tribeca Film Festival and the Venice Film Festival. The program will be available on the YouTube channel of the event.
     So far, the organizers didn`t mention the names of the films that would be screened, but they said that a full schedule would be available in the following weeks.
     We Are One is not meant to be considered a replacement for the festivals, but an intermediary event.
