The Embassy of Romania in the Kingdom of Denmark had the initiative of organizing the “Romanian Film Festival in Copenhagen”. At the opening gala on September 5, Andrei Crețulescu`s feature film
Charleston will be screened at Cinemateket (
Gothersgade 55, Copenhaga). The screening will be followed by a dinner reception offered by H.E. Alexandru Grădinar, the Ambassador
of Romania to the kingdom of Denmark and the Republic of Iceland.
At the official opening of the “Romanian Film Festival in Copenhagen” (7 film, 11 screenings), which will take place from September 5 to 26, 2018, the film critic
Dana Duma will speak about the New Romanian Cinema. The program
includes the films
Sieranevada, by Cristi Puiu,
Orizont, by Marian Crișan,
Dublu, by Catrinel Dănăiață,
Breaking News, by Iulia Rugină,
Ana, mon amour, by Călin Peter Netzer.
Organized at the initiative of the Embassy of Romania in the Kingdom of Denmark, in partnership with the Danish Film Institute, the festival is part of the cultural actions dedicated to the Centenary of the Great Union.
