Making Waves 2016 Nominations

     December brings a new edition of the Festival Making Waves: New Romanian Cinema, and on this occasion Making Waves proposes new nominations for the Romanian films in the selection.

     Bacalaureat/Graduation is nominated for Best Moral Dilemma, Ilegitim/Illegitimate, for Best Controversy, Sieranevada – Best Family-reunion-gone-wrong, Câini/Dogs – Best Balkan-flavoured Western & Best Villain, Inimi cicatrizate/Scarred Hearts – Best Medical-care-gone-wrong, Două lozuri/Two Lottery Tickets – Best Laughs, United States of Love – Best Female Ensemble, Cinema, mon amour – Best Theatre Manager and O noapte în Tokoriki/A Night in Tokoriki - Best Dance Scene.
     The 11th Edition of Making Waves is to be held between 1 - 8 December, 2016, at Jacob Burns Film Center. The Festival is presented by the Romanian Film Initiative, in partnership with Jacob Burns Film Centre, with the support of The Trust for Mutual Understanding, of the Romanian Filmmakers Union and of HBO România.
