Meda or The Not so Bright Side of Things / Meda sau Partea nu prea fericită a lucrurilor, directed by
Emanuel Pârvu, was screened at ANONIMUL on Tuesday, August 7, in the opening of the Romanian Film Night, in the presence of the director, the producer and some of the film crew members.

The film had its world premiere during the last year`s edition of the Sarajevo International Film Festival, where it received two awards: the Best Director Award - Emanuel Pârvu and the Best Actor Award -
Șerban Pavlu. The screening was preceded by a discussion with the crew members. – the director Emanuel Pârvu, the actors Șerban Pavlu, Constantin Dogioiu and Ingrid Micu-Berescu, the editor Ștefan Pârlog, the cinematographer
Silviu Stavilă and the film producer, Miruna Berescu. “Taking into consideration that the film crew put some huge efforts into the making of this film and that the shooting conditions were complicated, the film being selected to be part of the Sarajevo festival was an important acknowledgement in itself and the two awards came as a second, totally fantastic surprise”, Șerban Pavlu said.
The night continued with the screening of the short film
A Christmas Gift / Cadoul de Crăciun (the Romanian Film Days Award for short film at TIFF 2018), featuring
Ioana Flora and
Adrian Văncică. The film was introduced by the

director
Bogdan Mureșanu.
The Secret of Happiness / Secretul fericirii, the film directing debut of the actor
Vlad Zamfirescu repreents the Romanian production selected by the film programmer Ludmila Cvikova for the Feature Film Competition of ANONIMUL 15, alongside other 5 titles. The screening was attended by the director Vlad Zamfirescu and by the producer Cristina Dobrițoiu.
Monica Lăzurean-Gorgan was present at ANONIMUL 15 as the co-director of the documentary
Free Dacians / Dacii liberi, made together with Andrei Gorgan. The film will be released in the Romanian cinemas on November 30, 2018.
The line-up of the 15th edition of ANONIMUL includes other Romanian productions, such as
The Story of a Summer lover / Povestea unui pierde-vară, which will be introduced by the director
Paul Negoescu and a part of the film crew and
The Sentries / Străjerii, a film for children produced by
Liviu Marghidan.

ANONIMUL 15 takes place in Sfântu Gheorghe (the Danube Delta), from August 6 to 12.
