The Full Moon – Horror and Fantasy Film Festival launches the call for entries for the 7th edition which will take place in August (9-12) in the Biertan village (Sibiu county), the place that has hosted our nightmares from the first edition.

The festival screens genre features and shorts (fiction, animation, experimental) which will be selected by programmer Cătălin Mesaru. The film submissions are opened online, on the
FilmFreeWay platform.
The deadline for submissions (both for features and shorts) is June, 15, 2018. The festival will admit only films that meet the following criteria: have been produced after January 1st, 2017, do not exceed a 25-minute length, if they are shorts, have English subtitles (if the language spoken in the film is other than English), are not available on Youtube or other platform unless they are secured with a password (or with an
unlisted link).
Last year, during the four festival days, the genre film lovers could watch 10 feature films and 19 shorts, selected out of a record number of 1500 submissions. “I hope this year we`ll have more and more Romanian productions and I would like them to be so many and so good that they don`t fit the schedule and to find it hard to choose” Cătălin Mesaru said.
The Full Moon – Horror and Fantasy Film Festival (August, 9-12, 2018) is organized by the Romanian Film Promotion Association.
