“Scarred Hearts” screened at International Festivals in October

     Inimi cicatrizate/Scarred Hearts , winner of the Special Award of the Jury and of Don Quijote Prize granted by the International Federation of Film Societies at the Locarno International Film Festival, is to be screened next month in Europe, Asia and North America.

     The fourth feature-length film directed by Radu Jude, Scarred Hearts, a free adaptation after the literary work by M. Blecher, will be screened in the programme “Panorama Contemporary Cinema” at the Vancouver International Film Festival (29 September - 14 October, 2016). The film will have its North-American premiere on October 10th, local hour 20:45.
     In October, the feature is to be screened at Hamburg Filmfest in the official competition (4 October), la Warsaw International Film Festival (on 7 and 8 October), la BFI London Film Festival (in the „Dare” section, on 14 and 16 October) and at CinEast Luxembourg, the Central and Eastern European Film Festival (on 22 October)
     Also in October, Scarred Hearts will reach Asia, more specifically the South Korea, at the Busan International Film Festival. The feature was included in the section secțiunea “World Cinema” and its screenings are scheduled on 8, 11 and 14 October.
     Scarred Hearts will be premiered in Romanian movie theatres on 18 November, 2016, being distributed by microFILM.
