The feature film
Scarred Hearts / Inimi cicatrizate, which received two awards at the Locarno Film festival and which brought
Radu Jude the trophy for Best Director at the Mar del Plata Film Festival, was released on DVD, in a premium edition.

The package includes the film on DVD with English subtitles, the official trailer and a brochure made by Arnold Estefan.
The brochure includes texts written by Veronica Lazăr and
Andrei Gorzo (“Scarred hearts” - a film by Radu Jude), Norman Manea (“M.Blecher – between biography and creation”), a poem written by Geo Bogza (“Talking to M.Blecher”), the short story “Berck – the city of the damned” written by M.Blecher and photos made by Silviu Gheție.
This edition is available in the Cărturești bookshops network and online on cărturești.ro.
Scarred Hearts is a free adaptation of the novel written by Max Blecher; it features pe Lucian Teodor Rus,
Ivana Mladenović, Ilinca Hărnuţ,
Șerban Pavlu, Marian Olteanu, Alexandru Dabija, Dana Voicu, Fernando Klabin and Adina Cristescu.
The action of the film takes place in 1937, when Emanuel, a young man of 20 years old, diagnosed with Pott`s Disease is taken to a sanatorium by the seaside.
Scarred Hearts is a Hi Film production, made in co-production with Komplizen Film(Germany), in association with Bord Cadre Films(Switzerland) and developed at the Cinemart, Sofia Meetings.
Radu Jude is the scriptwriter and the director,
Marius Panduru RSC is the cinematographer, the editor is
Cătălin Cristuțiu, the sound design was signed by
Dana Bunescu, Jűrg Lempen was in charge with the sound and the sound mixing was made by
Cristinel Șirli. Dana Păpăruz was the costume designer, Bianca Boeroiu was the makeup artist and Domnica Bodogan was the hair stylist.
Cristian Niculescu was the production designer.
Ada Solomon is the film producer. The co-producers are: Jonas Dornbach, Janine Jackowski and Maren Ade and the associate producers are Jamal Zeinal Zade and Dan Wechsler.
The film also received four Gopo trophies out of 10 nominations and Radu Jude also received the Tobias Spencer Award at the Haifa Film Festival.
The film was made with the support of the Romanian Film Centre, the Film Creation Studio of the Ministry of Culture and the Creative Europe Media Programme and Eurimages.
