The films of March, at the Romanian Cinemateque


     This month the program of the Romanian Cinemateque starts off with a double bill Agnès Varda – Cléo from 5 to 7 /  Cléo de 5 à 7 and Happiness / Le bonheur – on the 1st of March, from 17:00 at the Eforie Hall (Jean Georgescu). The screening is part of the Film Menu Cineclub.
     On Friday, the 2nd of March, at the FILM Cineclub, the viewers can watch Forest Fruit / Fructe de pădure  directed by Alexandru Tatos) and they can meet some of the film crew members: the cinematographer Florin Mihăilescu (a close collaborator of the director), the costume designer Svetlana Mihăilescu and the actress Manuela Zaharie (Boboc), the actress who played the main part.
     The Queer Cineclub continues its screenings with the feature film Different from the Others / Anders als die Andern (1919, directed by Richard Oswald), scheduled on March, 15.
     The Romanian Cinemateque will schedule some of the most recent Romanian films: Soldiers / Soldații. Poveste din Ferentari (directed by Ivana Mladenović), Fault Condition / Scurtcircuit (directed by Cătălin Saizescu), and  Infinite Football / Fotbal infinit (directed by Corneliu Porumboiu).
