
The Romanian comedy was represented at the Festival by actor Dorian Boguță, by director and screenwriter Paul Negoescu, director of photography
Ana Drăghici and executive producer Ovidiu Stancu, with the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Vienna.
After its international premiere in Zürich, the film is taking part these days in the competition of the Francophone Film International Festival held in Namur, Belgium. The festival's screenings will take place on 1 and 3 October, with director Paul Negoescu and director of photography Ana Drăghici in attendance. Two Lottery Tickets tells the comical story of three men from a small town who win the big lottery prize, but shortly after the winning ticket disappears, so the three have to embark in a journey to recover it. Inspired by the short story by I. L. Caragiale, “Two Lottery Tickets”, the film will be released in movie theatres all over the country
starting on 7 October.
