The Romanian Film Caravan arrives at the “Maramureş Days”

    From May 8 to may 13, 2018, the fourth edition of the “Maramureş Days – Come to Maramureş”, an event organized by the Maramureş County Council, in collaboration with the cultural institutions operating under it.
This year, with this event, the Maramureş County Council initiates an important action of promoting the Maramureş County as a touristic destination, under the name “Come to Maramureş”. Among the activities that will take place, there will be

a conference dedicated to the Great Union, with important guests: academicians, university professors, historians (the conference will take place at the ”Petre Dulfu” County Library in Baia Mare), a fair promoting the area, an international ceramics symposium where the guests are specialists from our country and from abroad.
     During this big event, the first edition of the Maramureş Film Festival will also take place. The event will include the most representative films which show characters or places in Maramureş.or films which were shot in Maramureş.In this context, the Romanian Film Caravan – the book and the film will screen here a few historical films dedicated to the Great Union Centenary, which have topics related to Maramureş.

The access is free, upon seats availability. In case of bad weather, the screenings will take place at the County Ethnography and Popular Art Museum, following the same schedule
