4 luni, 3 săptămâni și 2 zile / 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days was reunited on the occasion of the 10-year anniversary since Palme d’Or, at the Festival's Opening Gala, at the Athenaeum of Iași. Cristian Mungiu,
Anamaria Marinca,
Laura Vasiliu,
Ion Sapdaru and
Vlad Ivanov were applauded for their achievement in Cannes, as of May 2007, the talk being moderated by Andrei Giurgia (Festival director) and Irina-Margareta Nistor (cultural ambassador of SFR).
Within the Gala, director Cristian Mungiu was granted the
SFR Festival Trophy, offered by the Romanian Cultural Institute.
Over 5,000 viewers took part to the
film screenings, exhibitions, book releases, concerts and thematic meetings de film, during 10 - 14 May, at the Festival
Romanian Film Nights 2017.
