Suhum is the capital city of Abhaziei, a small Republic not recognised officially, located on the Oriental shore of the Black Sea. On a hill above the city there stretches the park of a medical institute performing research on monkeys, set up by the Soviets during the ‘20s. The legend says it was set up for creating a hybrid between man and monkey. But the creatue was never born, just as the New Man of the Communism was never born. Today, people and monkeys are captive in a territory ravaged by war and decades of cruelty, both being victims of a series of failed events.
The film will be officially premiered in movie theatres this fall, on 6 October.
Tarzan's Testicles will be distributed in Romania by microFILM. '
