During the Göteborg International Film Festival 2020 more Romanian productions and co-productions.
Ivana the Terrible / Ivana cea Groaznică,
Ivana Mladenović`s second feature film
was selected in The Ingmar Bergman Competition.
Marona`s Fantastic Tale / Călătoria fantastică a Maronei, directed by
Anca Damian, was included in the Animated Masterpieces section.
In the Five Continents program, three films will be screened: the documentary
colectiv directed by
Alexander Nanau,
The Son (directed by Ines Tanović), a Bosnia-Herzegovina-Croatia-Romania-Slovenia and Montenegro co-production, as well as the Germany-Austria co-production
Gipsy Queen, directed by Hüseyin Tabak, starring
Alina Şerban.
Göteborg International Film Festival is the biggest film festival in the Northern countries which - besides the film screenings – organizes many important events for the film industry. This year, the festival takes place from January 24 to February 3, 2020.
