“Dogs” seen by over 15,500 viewers in Romania


     Câini/Dogs, the directing debut by Bogdan Mirică, award-winner at CannesTIFF and Sarajevo, and nominated at European Discovery 2016, and at the European Film Academy Awards, has been seen until now by over 15,500 people in Romania, at theatres and at special screenings.
     The film was released on the big screens on Friday, 23 September, the cast starring the actors: Dragoş Bucur, Vlad Ivanov and Gheorghe VisuRaluca AproduEmilian OpreaTeodor CorbanCostel CașcavalConstantin Cojocaru, Cătălin Paraschiv and Andrei Ciopec.
     Dogs may be seen this week in Bucharest, at Hollywood Multiplex, Movieplex, Băneasa Grand Cinema & More, CineGlobe Titan, AFI Cinema City Cotroceni, Cinema City Mega Mall, Cinema City Sun Plaza, Cinema City Park Lake, Cinematheque Union, Cinematheque Eforie, Europa. In the country, Dogs is screened in Adjud, Alba Iulia, Bacău, Baia Mare, Bârlad, Botoșani, Brăila, Brașov, Buzău, Caransebeș, Cluj-Napoca, Constanța, Craiova, Deva, Focșani, Galați, Gura Humorului, Iași, Odobești, Onești, Oradea, Oravița, Piatra Neamț, Pitești, Ploiești, Râmnicu Vâlcea, Reșița, Sibiu, Slobozia, Târgu Jiu, Târgu-Mureș, Timișoara, Vulcan.
     In parallel, the film will begin a journey through the country to towns without movie theatres, and the first special screenings will be held in Hațeg (Performance Hall, former Cinema Dacia, 28 September, 19:30), Carei (Deak Endre Hall of the Cultural Centre, 29 September, 19:30), Zalău (Municipal Cultural Hall, 30 September, 18.30 and 20.30), Curtea de Argeș (“George Topîrceanu” Culture and Arts Centre, 1 October, 19:00).
