The Bad Zmeu and Wolverine, from Buftea to Hollywood

    The Bad Zmeu, played by Mircea Diaconu in the film The Secret of the Secret Weapon / Secretul armei…secrete, directed by Alexandru Tatos in 1988, has the same hair style as Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) in X-Men (2000), regizat de Bryan Singer.
     The resemblance between the two characters, in terms of hair styles is striking. Elena Rucăreanu was in charge of the hair and make up for The Secret of the Secret Weapon and Patricia Medina was the hair stylist for X-Men, but the concepts of the characters are somewhat similar. We don`t know how the ideas travelled from Buftea to Hollywood, but the avant-garde hair style of the character played by Mircea Diaconu is a proof of the creativity of Alexandru Tatos` crew.
