The gala screenings, in the presence of the film crews, will take place in Brașov (Friday, November 23, 2018, from 19.00, Cinemateca Patria), Brăila (Saturday, November 24, from 19.00, Cinefeel) and Timișoara (Wednesday, November 28, from 19.30, Casa Artelor).
A Decent Man had
the world premiere in the New Directors section of the San Sebastian Film Festival and it was selected in the competition dedicated to the directorial debuts of the Namur Film Festival.
The film tells the story of Petru, who is a drilling engineer in a multinational company. Petru is about to get married to his pregnant girlfriend when Sonia, his lover, suffers a serious work accident. As his options become fewer and fewer, Petru tries to find an honorable way to get out of one love triangle that is very shaky. The film is based on the novel “Firesc” written by Petre Cimpoeșu.
