Bucharest-based viewers are invited to discover the art of the future between 28 September and 1 October. Over 60 artists from 8 countries will be present on the stages from Cinema Elvira Popescu, The Ark, ARCUB Gabroveni, Bucharest National Music University and George Enescu National Museum, for 4 nights of novel performances.

United under the festival's concept, TOUCH, the events of the fourth edition of INNERSOUND NEW ARTS FESTIVAL are proposing the culture fans to rediscover the power of art to generate innovation in any field and to bring them closer to the future. The festival theme challenges the audience to reflect on the
touch: as borderline between technology and feeling, as meeting point between artist and spectator, as actual first step from feeling to matter, in a seductive mix of action and reverie.
The programme of InnerSound includes a mix of concerts, installations, mute film, photography and creative workshops, and among the guests, mention should be made of Ad Libitum string quartet (violin players Alexandru Tomescu and Șerban Mereuță, viola player Bogdan Bișoc and cello player Filip Papa), SonoMania chamber ensemble, conductor Alexandru Mija, piano players Gabriela Sultana (Malta) and Mihai Măniceanu (Romania), accordion player Ghenadie Rotari (Moldova-Italia), Project 128 techno-acoustic ensemble (the Netherlands), composer and multimedia artist Svetlana Maras (Serbia), sound artist and experimental DJ Lukatoyboy (Serbia).
Joi, 29 September, at 18:30, Cinema Elvira Popescu will host
Silent Film Night, a unique event in Romania: 10 mute, narrative, experimental and animation shorts, included in the competition for the InnerSound Trophy, to be accompanied by a sound track composed in August by 10 young Romanian composers, performed by SonoMania ensemble, conducted by Alexandru Mija. InnerSound is the only festival din Romania to dedicate a night to mute film accompanied by live camera music.
The event's special guest will be David OReilly, an Irish artist based in Los Angeles, known for his multiple award winning animations, video games and digital art. At InnerSound, his animation entitled
Black Lake will be screened, outside the competition, accompanied by original music signed by composer Sabina Ulubeanu.
The Festival will wrap up on Saturday, 1 October, with an electro-contemporary night at The Ark. Starting at 19:30, accordion player Ghenadie Rotari, the Netherlanders from Project 128 and DJ Lukatoyboy will mix contemporary classical music with electronic, techno-acoustic and dj experimental beats.
