The Romanian Cultural Institute of Brussels and the Romanian Student Association of Strasbourg (ADERS) are setting up the fifth Edition of the Romanian Film Weeks at
Odyssée Movie House in Strasbourg, between 8 February – 14 March 2017.

The programme includes films from Romania and from the Republic of Moldova, such as:
De ce eu? / Why Me? (directed by
Tudor Giurgiu – 8 February, at 20.00),
Aliyah DaDa (directed by
Oana Giurgiu – 9 February, 20.00),
Tristan Tzara – Omul aproximativ / Tristan Tzara – The Approximate Man (directed by
Ilinca Neagu – 19 February, at 12.30),
Împărăteasa roșie – Viața și aventurile Anei Pauker / The Red Queen – Life and Adventures of Ana Pauker (directed by
Radu Gabrea – 18 February, at 20.00),
Filantropica / Philanthropy (directed by
Nae Caranfil – 14 February, at 20.00),
Afacerea Est / Eastern Affair (directed by
Igor Cobileanski – 19 February, at 20.00).
On Saturday, 11 February, from 20.00, a pack of shorts is scheduled for screening:
Annick (directed by Bianca Sescu, 2015), the animation
La marée de Selkie (directed by Dan Ene, 2015),
1969 (directed by Alexandru Aurelian Ispas, 2013),
Une Colline (directed by
Diana Munteanu, 2016) and
I made you, I kill you (directed by Alexandru Petru Badelita, 2016). Bianca Sescu and Dan Ene will be also present to talk with the audience.
Mircea Diaconu (
Filantropica), Oana Giurgiu, Radu Gabrea and Igor Cobileanski will also attend the festival.
The Festival is organised with the support of the
Consulate General of Romania in Strasbourg and of the platform
Lastrasbourg.com. Design and graphics belong to visual artist Ioana Țibulcă.
